Attacking midfielder Gabriel Pirani believes that the Pre-Olympic Team is evolving more and more throughout the competition. Brazil is undefeated in the tournament with two victories; on Bolivia and Colombia.
Coach Ramon Menezes promoted different lineups between the first and second matches. On both occasions the DC United player started well in the second half and helped the hopscotch team secure the victory.
“We have evolved within the competition. Two games, two important victories that give us confidence. We took away the anxiety in the first game. We actually reached the Pre-Olympic with the second game and the victory. And we are at full strength for the game against Ecuador. We intend to achieve 100% classification, which is very important. To achieve this, we will always be focused and always looking for victory”, stated Pirani.

This Saturday (27), the athlete trained with the group that had the least minutes during the victory over Colombia. The players went to the field and carried out tactical training. The other athletes remained in concentration carrying out regenerative work. After the activities, Gabriel Pirani still emphasized his satisfaction in being able to serve hopscotch.
“I think serving the Brazilian team is a pleasure, it’s a privilege to be here. It’s a boy’s dream. So, every time I get on the field, I get to really enjoy it.”
The team will play again next Monday (29), at 5pm (Brasília time), at the Brigído Iriarte Stadium, in Caracas (VEN), against Ecuador. The direct confrontation is worth the leadership of Group A.
