It was a clash of strong (and late) emotions on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium: Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United.

Arsenal once again showed why they were runner-ups to the title of the Premier League last season. United opened the scoresheet with Marcus Rashford, but the Gunners quickly equalized with Martin Odegaard.

It was only later on the match that things changed, with an annulled goal by Garnacho, and then a stunner from Declan Rice, giving Arsenal the lead. Gabriel Jesus finished things off after a Fábio Vieira pass. The Brazilian conducted the ball, left Dalot on the grass and finished with tranquility to beat Andre Onana.

The Gunners now have 10 points in four matches, with three wins and a draw. They are in the 5th position of the Premier League, with only Manchester City up ahead, with 12. Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham also have 10.

Gabriel Jesus

Since the World Cup in Qatar, Gabriel Jesus has been facing problems. He got hurt during the tournament and had to undergo surgery on his knee in December.

The Brazilian came back in the end of the season and helped Arsenal, but needed another surgery last month because of another injury sustained in the preseason.

Because of it, Mikel Arteta has been using Jesus as an option on the bench. He made his debut last week, in the 2-2 draw against Fulham.
