Vitor also won the Paranaense title this year, in addition to being the team"s current top scorer.

For Roque, this two year anniversary is a time for reflection

“[I am] happy to complete this milestone in my career and to have already experienced so many things. I look back and see everything I went through and faced to get to where I am today. It"s about thanking all the clubs I played for, all the coaches I had, teammates, professionals. I learned a lot from everyone and I hope this is just the beginning of many good things to come. I still have a lot to evolve and learn, but I feel more prepared every day, more confident, to play my best football"

In his career so far, Vitor Roque has 95 games, 33 goals and 11 assists. At the moment, the striker is recovering from an injury to his right ankle, but shows confidence and motivation to return to the field.

However, he sees this injury as a stepping stone to glory

“Unfortunately, this is part of our profession as a professional athlete, but I feel very well, with a good head, confident and motivated for my return. I have a very qualified team with me, a great Athletico structure so that I can return 100%"
