One of the main midfielders in English football today, Andreas Pereira can leave Fulham in the middle of this year, when the transfer window opens. That’s because Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are watching the 27-year-old’s performance, according to ESPN’s publication.
The Brazilian has a contract with Fulham until June 2026 and is willing to accept the challenge of playing at a bigger club. The board of the London club, in turn, has already stipulated the desired amount to seal a possible negotiation: between 25 million and 35 million pounds (approximately R$ 161 million and R$ 225 million, respectively).
Andreas Pereira’s numbers for Fulham:
- 32 games
- three goals
- six assists
Chelsea’s interest in the Fulham player is related to the possible departure of Mason Mount, who is monitored by Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City. Blues and a half have already started conversations aimed at contract renewal, however, the parties did not understand each other.
Andreas Pereira performs the same role as Mount, so he is considered the ideal replacement. Meanwhile, PSG understands that the ex-Flamengo is a “cheap” option, so as not to cause problems with Uefa regarding financial fair play.
