In the history of Brazilian football, some foreigners have made a mark and become idols for the clubs they had stints with in the country. Goals, assists, and even the connection with the fans are some of the aspects that were part of their journeys. As another edition of the Brazilian Championship is about to begin, Sambafoot has compiled a list of the foreigners who scored the most goals in the competition.

Names that could still continue scoring more goals this season, such as Germán Cano from Fluminense and Calleri from São Paulo, for example, were crucial for their clubs in 2023, contributing to both the cariocas’ title in the Conmebol Libertadores and the paulistas’ triumph in the Copa do Brasil.
