Flamengo begins intense training and friendlies schedule in the United States

Flamengo landed last Thursday afternoon, January 18th, on North American soil and is already immersed in an intensive sequence of activities, aiming for a promising season.

Under Tite’s command, the Rio team is preparing for 11 days of commitments on North American soil.

This Friday, January 19th, the red-and-black players will have their first training sessions at Osceola Heritage Park, a mini-stadium located within Orlando City’s CT (USA), starting at 9:30 am (local time). Activities will take place full time, both in the morning and in the afternoon.

On Saturday, January 20th, training will take place in just one period, starting at 11am (local time).

It is worth noting that Flamengo will open its activities in the next two days, allowing the press to follow and record images.

The team’s first friendly is scheduled for Sunday, January 21, against Philadelphia Union (USA).

According to information published by the Coluna do Fla portal, during their stay in the United States, Flamengo will have a total of 11 training sessions, with four days of full-time activities.

In the morning, all 26 players will train together, while in the afternoon they will be divided into two groups at different times. Additionally, the team will enjoy two days off.

The schedule also includes an open training session for fans next Thursday, January 25th.

During their days off, the Rubro-Negro cast will participate in extra activities, such as watching an NBA basketball game and a visit to Universal Studios Park.

The last activity in the United States will take place on the morning of January 30th (Tuesday), before the team returns to Brazil.

The delegation will head directly to Belém, where they will face Sampaio Corrêa on January 31 in the fifth round of the 2024 Carioca Championship.
