Athletico Paranaense’s 2-0 victory over Cuiabá this Tuesday (15), at the Ligga Arena, in Curitiba, sealed the end of the first half of the Brasileirão (19 rounds of 38), which has been one of the greatest in history. More than 4.8 million fans paid to follow their teams inside the Braziliand stadiums.
A lot of passion in each game
The championship has an average of 27,006 spectators per game and far exceeds the highest mark in history: the 1983 edition, with 22,953 fans.
Compared to the year 2022, which registered the third best public mark in the national competition, the growth is 28.4% until the 19th round.

Flamengo and São Paulo fans fill stadiums
In fourth place in the table, Flamengo takes the largest number of people to the stands, with an average of 54,668 in Maracanã. In addition, Rubro-Negro from Rio holds the attendance record for a game this season: Flamengo 1 x 1 Cruzeiro, on May 27, valid for the eighth round.
Behind Flamengo is São Paulo, supported by 48,650 payers per game at Morumbi.

Botafogo
Leader, Botafogo stands out in some aspects. Glorioso is looking for the third Brazilian championship and is equal to Corinthians in 2017 with the best score in the first round of the Brasileirão since 2006. The team has 47 points and is 13 ahead of second place, Palmeiras.
Boosted by the 13 goals scored by the top scorer of the edition, Tiquinho Soares, Glorioso has the best attack in the competition, with 35 goals. Eduardo and Luis Henrique, with three and four goals, respectively, are other outstanding scorers.
The team also conceded the lowest number of goals so far: 11. To further enhance the campaign, the team has a 100% success rate when playing at Nilton Santos, for around 25,000 people from Botafogo per game.

Throughout the matches, 458 goals were scored, an average of 2.43 goals per game. In addition to Tiquinho, who also stand out in the fight for artillery are forwards Deyverson and Vitor Roque, from Cuiabá and Athletico Paranaense, with eight goals.
