West Ham, with Lucas Paquetá starting, traveled this Thursday to face Freiburg on the second day of the Europa League, where the two leaders of Group A played against each other.
The Brazilian particularly stood out, scoring the first goal of the match for his team, for a final score of 2-1 in favor of the Hammers.

From the first minutes of the game, Paquetá was in great form and opened the scoring in the 8th minute, scoring with a header, an unusual feat for the Brazilian playmaker.
This goal was not enough for the Hammers, who saw Freiburg pick up the score at the start of the second half.
The score then changed one last time when Aguerd seals the victory for his team with a helmet strike when receiving a corner in the 68th minute.
Following this victory, West Ham takes the lead in its group with 6 points, while Freiburg is second at 3 points.
As for Paquetá, this is his ninth match played this season with West Ham, for his second goal scored.
