Ederson celebrates support from fans in Cuiabá: “This motivates us a lot”

In a press conference held this Tuesday (10), goalkeeper Ederson praised the support of the fans in Cuiabá (MT). The training at Arena Pantanal was open to the public in the final part and was attended by more than six thousand people, most of them children.

“We have to explore this more. I saw today in the final part of training how many children there are, you see children with dreams being able to see their idols, their inspirations. This motivates us a lot, it’s good to have this contact with the fans, to see children and young people supporting us, it’s a great show of affection”, celebrated the goalkeeper.

Ederson also commented on his relationship with goalkeepers, Brazilian teammates, Alisson and Lucas Perri.

“Our relationship is very good, a healthy dispute, the team has to gain because it has such good goalkeepers. With the attackers, there’s a game of serving the juice or paying for flexing. It’s good to prepare with the best. Having the best in the selection, this makes us more prepared”, said Ederson, who also commented on the work under the command of coach Fernando Diniz.

“The players absorb it very quickly, especially players who are at a high level. In this short period with Diniz it has been no different, we have learned a lot of things. It is a team that has rotation with the ball, this is a little different, all the players They are adapting very well and are happy with the way we are performing in training”, he added.

“In this new cycle, you see different football, a team with more possession of the ball, patient, not just in transition. We have fast players up front. But the main thing is patience with the ball. Of course, playing good football, when has possession of the ball, controls the game more, this ends up being good because it makes you less tired. This new cycle has everything to work out. It will take time, not all games will play well, they will have ups and downs. But I hope that let us have more ups than downs.”
