The Brazilian National Team’s 4-2 victory over Spain on Tuesday (6) was built minute by minute. The ball moved from foot to foot to secure the team’s qualification for the Paris Olympics, and the players emphasized Brazil’s commitment to the pursuit of the gold medal.

“It’s an immense joy to come away with this result today and think that we are very close to our goal. From the first phase, it was very challenging, but we believed a lot, we trusted Arthur’s work, and the results are showing. We have a lot of confidence in this group, in this coaching staff, and we will pursue this gold until the end,” said Duda Sampaio.

Duda is one of Arthur Elias’s trusted athletes, having received six call-ups under the coach. At 23 years old, the midfielder has played 26 matches for the Brazilian National Team and adds quality to the team with all her wisdom and youth.

Another player standing out in the Olympic Games is Tarciane, who, with 13 matches for Brazil and only four call-ups with Arthur Elias, is already showing her great preparation and excellence in wearing the national jersey.

Tarciane commented on the Brazilian National Team’s campaign leading up to the final, highlighting that the team’s goal is to come away with the gold medal.

“I think our group stage was very important for our strengthening in the competition. I believe we lost at the right moment. After the first phase, we faced two very tough teams, and even so, we managed to showcase our football. We played with a lot of grit and determination,” she said.

“I want to thank all the fans; you are very important to us. Now we have a final objective, which is to be champions. You can be sure that we will fight hard. I am confident that we are ready for this,” she added.

Brazil will return to the field on Saturday (10) at 12 PM to face the United States at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
