During the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru, Alisson was in Brazil"s squad but didn"t play. This follows his earlier omission during the mid-season international break in March, a surprising decision by caretaker boss Ramon Menezes that even surprised Ederson.
Former national team coach Tite had designated Alisson as the top goalkeeper for the 2022 World Cup. However, Alisson must now prove himself to temporary boss Fernando Diniz to regain his position as the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.
Additionally, Liverpool has introduced a new purple third kit for the 2023/2024 season, marking their return to this color since 2018/19. The kit features a purple ripple pattern, black sleeve cuffs, collarbone inserts, side paneling, matching shorts, and purple ripple socks.
