Deportivo La Coruña have revealed their second kit for the 2023/24 season, a striking creation that pays homage to the legendary Brazilian team from 1994. They pay hommage to former players Mauro Silva and Bebeto, celebrating their World Cup victories while wearing Spanish colours.
The significant gesture comes weeks after a public disagreement between the club and the two former players. Bebeto and Mauro Silva had decided to withdraw from the traditional Teresa Herrera tournament following differences. However, La Coruña quickly offered to cover the duo’s travel expenses and readjust their schedule, showing their desire for reconciliation.
