It’s almost three months in prison for Dani Alves who was accused of sexual abuse in Barcelona at the end of December. In these months he received both the support and the visit of his friends and family.

The news that was released in these hours was that the former side of the Brazilian National Team is qualified to play in the XI Edition of the Intercentre Penitentiary Tournament.

This tournament is carried out by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in conjunction with the Ministry of the Interior of Spain and this year will have the particularity of having the player who won the most trophies in history of the sport.

The tournament will begin on April 12 and will feature inmates from 33 centers throughout Spain. The final is scheduled to be held at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas where the Spanish National Team holds its concentrations.

It would not be the first time that this has happened, since Ronaldinho at the time was crowned champion of an internal tournament while he was confined in Paraguay in 2020.
