Yesterday Corinthians announced Vanderlei Luxemburgo as their new coach. The 70-year-old manager arrives to take the place left by Cuca after his controversial exit in the sexual scandal that involved him.
Luxembourg has an impressive resume that has led him to direct in various parts of the world such as Brazil, China and Saudi Arabia, the highest point being the year 2004 when he was in charge of Real Madrid. He was also in command of the Brazilian National Team, winning the 1999 Copa América. The last passage through a club of the Brazilian coach was Cruzeiro in 2021.
