The CBF will hold the draw for the round of 16 matches of the Copa Betano do Brasil this Thursday (18). The event will take place at the CBF auditorium at 2pm and will be broadcast on the CBF TV YouTube channel.
The 16 teams guaranteed in the next phase were defined last Sunday (14), after Grêmio’s qualification, who beat Operário-PR 3-1 at the Centenário, in Caxias do Sul (RS).

The round of 16 matches of the Copa do Brasil are scheduled to be played on the base dates of July 31 and August 7.
The draw will take place without separation by pots. Thus, there is no limitation on the matches, which frees, for example, the realization of state derbies. The order of home and away matches will also be defined in the same way.
Known as the most inclusive competition in the country, the Copa do Brasil has representatives from 4 Regions of Brazil, from eight different states:
Northeast – Bahia (Bahia) and CRB (Alagoas)
Southeast – São Paulo, Palmeiras, Red Bull Bragantino, Corinthians (São Paulo), Vasco, Flamengo, Fluminense and Botafogo (Rio de Janeiro); Atlético-MG (Minas Gerais)
Midwest – Goiás and Atlético-GO (Goiás);
South – Juventude and Grêmio (Rio Grande do Sul) and Athletico-PR (Paraná).
