The Brasileirão will have an influence on the 2024 Copa América. The Brazilian Série A championship is one of the leagues with the highest number of players called up by the national teams participating in the competition: only the Premier League, MLS, and Liga MX have more.

In total, there are 32 players from Brazil’s first division participating in the tournament organized by CONMEBOL in the United States. The English league leads the list with 44 representatives, while the United States’ Major League Soccer has 40, five more than Mexico’s top tier.
