With the three points, the team equaled the score of England and Iran, who face each other this Tuesday, and reached second place in the group.
To guarantee classification for the knockout stages, it is necessary to finish the group stage as leader or vice-leader or be one of the four best third-placed teams.
In the next round of the U17 World Cup, the team led by the coach will face England, this Friday (17), at 9am. Phelipe Leal reinforced the feeling of happiness for representing Brazil in the most important competition in the category.
“It’s a great pride to play in a World Cup. Not everyone has this opportunity. In each game, we need to do our best and represent not only Brazilian football, but our country very well.”
