The loan will be for the entire season. Strasbourg was recently bought by the same owners as Chelsea and are coached by Patrick Vieira. It was already on Chelsea’s plan to give more minutes to Ângelo elsewhere.
“I am very motivated for this challenge and my goal is to help the team reach the top. I’m also happy to get to know French football, one of the most famous in the world, with a style of play that I like and that suits me well. I can’t wait to start,” he said.
Andrey’s future
The Blues have yet to decide what they are going to do about Andrey Santos.
He has received numerous approaches to be loaned, but the club will respect Mauricio Pochettino’s decision after a through evaluation of his pre-season.
