Both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League quarter finals fixture have been drawn, with some interesting ties lying in wait already. The draws were made on Friday.
Real Madrid will face Liverpool, in what would be a repeat of the 2018 finals, as well as Bayern Munich clashing with PSG, who last saw each other in the 2020 finals.
The other fixtures will see Manchester City taking on Borussia Dortmund and FC Porto facing Chelsea.
The winner between the thirteen-time champions and Liverpool will take on the winner of Fc Porto vs Chelsea in the semi-finals. Elsewhere, Pep Guardiola might face his former side Bayern Munich, if Man City can get past Borussia Dortmund.
On the other hand, in the Europa League, Manchester United and Arsenal are both looking like favorites to lift the trophy, considering they were handed ‘favorable’ ties. The Red Devils were drawn to face La Liga side Granada, while Arsenal will go against Czech outfit Slavia Prague.
Ajax play Roma, and Dinamo Zagreb have been drawn against Villarreal in the other quarter-final match-ups.
With a victory for the Manchester side, they will go on to face the winner of Ajax and Roma, while Arsenal might as well face their former boss Unai Emery in the semi-finals if Villareal can get past Dinamo Zagreb.
