CBF puts Flamengo ahead of Palmeiras in the national ranking of the season

For the fourth year in a row, Flamengo appears at the top of the CBF 2024 National Club Ranking. In total, Rio’s Rubro-Negro scored 16,678 points. The annual update of the positions of associations and federations was released this Friday (8) by the Competitions Directorate.

Palmeiras, current two-time champion of the Brasileirão Assaí, is in second place in the Ranking with 15,372 points. Champion of the Copa Betano do Brasil 2023, São Paulo is in third place (14,828), followed by Athletico Paranaense (13,888) and Atlético Mineiro (13,282).

The National Club Ranking (RNC) establishes a technical classification among 239 Brazilian football clubs, based on the teams’ recent performance in national and international competitions.
