The Mangueirão stadium was approved by Conmebol delegates, after an inspection of all the facilities at the site.

“The decisions taken by the current management are aimed solely at the best technical and logistical conditions for the Brazilian National Team. Throughout this round, we will look for issues that we consider to be priorities, such as the displacement of players, wear and tear on the team, shorter distances between the venues for matches, infrastructure that bring comfort and security to the entire delegation. Furthermore, a game will not be analyzed in isolation, but the best composition of the set of matches”, said the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues.
