The situation at Manchester United is becoming more and more critical, and English sports commentators did not hesitate to point the finger at Brazilian midfielder Casemiro after his team’s painful defeat at Old Trafford against Brighton.
Casemiro’s performance drew scathing comments, with some going so far as to say he looked 45 years old on the pitch.

Criticism rains on Casemiro, the players, and the club management
Among the most virulent critics, former footballer Gabby Agbonlahor stood out by attacking Casemiro. “Casemiro! Casemiro looked like he was 45 years old as he ran through the middle of the field. (Erik ten Hag) had to take him out in the 65th minute for Hannibal (Mejbri), a young guy, because he was in such bad shape,” he said.
Harsh words which demonstrate the growing frustration of supporters.
The harsh comments did not stop there. talkSPORT commentator Jamie O’Hara didn’t mince his words either.
“Manchester United fans can argue with me and give me all the fitness stats they want, but three or four times in midfield today he stopped running because it looked like his legs had abandoned him. He quitted. It was like he was saying ‘I can’t catch him’. He seemed so overwhelmed.”
The criticisms of Casemiro are therefore unanimous.
However, he is not the only one to have been criticized. Lisandro Martinez was also in the eye of the media storm, as were the Blazzers, owners of the club.
Pressure is mounting on all fronts at Manchester United.
