The official text, accompanied by several photographs of the midfielder posing in the team’s uniforms, stresses that this decision is a “historic opportunity” for the club from the coastal city of Marbella, in the Andalusia region, and chaired by Esteban Granero, another former Real Madrid player.
“It is an honor for me to join Marbella FC because my greatest motivation is the spectacular growth possibilities of the club. I have been in Marbella with my family on several occasions and my children, my wife and I are in love with this city, with which we want to be linked for life,” Casemiro said after the announcement.
“Without a doubt, together we will dream big to take Marbella to the highest levels, but now we have to enjoy our wonderful promotion,” he added. The team managed to rise to Primera Federación, the third division, after winning two playoff rounds, the last against Logroñés.
