Brazil has become one of the mandatory destinations for scouts from any part of the planet, especially for European giants looking to find the new jewel of world football. Thus, many Brazilian footballers made the leap to the Old Continent in recent years.

However, not all of them have been successful, and many had to return to Brazil shortly after leaving the country. In fact, Globo Esporte discovered that 71 players returned to Brazil at the age of 23 or younger after a brief stint in Europe.
