The Brazilian Women’s Team beat Nicaragua 4-0, this Wednesday (6), at Fonte Luminosa, in Araraquara (SP). Gabi Nunes and Marta built the advantage in the first half, while Luana and Aline Milene closed the scoring in the second half.

The match was the last in the series of three friendlies for Arthur Elias’ team and marked Brazil’s farewell to 2023. Before that, Amarelinha played two games against Japan (4-3 and 0-2).

The match began with the Brazilian team taking control of the game’s actions. The Brazilian attack arrived with danger, but failed in the last pass to create clearer chances of goal.

Arthur Elias’ team opened the scoring in the 16th minute. Tamires managed a good pass to Bia Zaneratto at the edge of the area. With a body play, the attacker got rid of the marking and crossed for Eudimilla’s header, which hit the post.
