Luany started her career in the Daminhas da Bola project, in Rio de Janeiro. In 2019, she arrived at Fluminense and had her first call-ups for the youth teams. At the age of 18, the striker already stood out in Fluminense’s first team and caught the attention of Grêmio.

At the Rio Grande do Sul club, she was one of the highlights of winning the 2022 Gaúcho Championship, even scoring a goal at Arena do Grêmio in the Grenal derby in the final. The feat took her to the North American OL Reign, where she lived alongside big names in world football like Megan Rapinoe.
