A Brazilian has been standing out in Serie A of the Latvian championship: it’s Ramires, a player for Auda FK. He arrived at the club at the end of June this year and has already scored 11 goals in 14 games for the new team, which made Auda go from 8th to 3rd place in the general table and also enter the classification zone for the UEFA Conference League.

Previously, the youth player of the Red Bull Bragantino academy, he was at Riga FC, also in Latvia, and transferred permanently to his current club. He also had a spell at Ponte Preta and in football in Cyprus.

“I’m very happy for the good moment I’m having on the field! I put in a lot of effort every day and things are flowing here at Auda. I’m going to remain firm and believe in my potential, I’m sure we’ll be rewarded at the end of the season,” said Ramires .

Today reaping the fruits of his work, Ramires has already thought about giving up football. He started at football schools from an early age, but until he was 17 he still hadn’t had an opportunity at any youth level, so he thought about giving up his dream of becoming a professional football player. But it was approved in a sieve at Audax in São Paulo.

“I thought about giving up, not making a base early could be decisive. But I had a lot of support from my parents, who are my biggest idols in life and I was blessed to join the Audax base. Then I started believing in my dream again and I’m realizing it today. I live for football and it makes me very fulfilled. That’s why I think it’s worth fighting for what you want in your life”, concluded Ramires.
