The three goals came in the final stage. Boavista took the lead with defender Wellington heading the ball. Midfielder Marlon Gomes tied the match for the Seleção. The turning point came with a beautiful shot from Bruno Gomes, from outside the area.

Marlon Gomes spoke about the goal in the match and commented on Brazil’s preparation.

“The whole group is to be congratulated. Happy for the goal, for the match. This week was very important for all of us. We managed to perform well, have a beautiful friendly. Now it’s time to focus on the trip, God willing, everything will be fine. I’m happy to be here. Another opportunity to wear the Brazilian National Team shirt and be able to contribute in some way,” analyzed Marlon.

The scorer of the Brazilian team’s second goal in the game, Bruno Gomes, also analyzed the match and the preparation period.

I’m really happy, it was a difficult game, thank God I managed to hit that shot there which gave us some relief and we managed to come away with the victory. We’re still getting to know each other. We only had a week of time together here. But we had a good first half, I think the second half was a little better, but I think that’s generally the case, the start of the game is a little more physical, everyone is still a little nervous”, he assessed.

The Brazilian National Team will do two more training sessions in the next few days before leaving Granja Comary.
