The Women’s National Team resumed, this Friday (14), training in the final stretch of preparation for the World Cup. The day after the game against China, the players were divided into two groups to do specific jobs.
After a playful warm-up with physical trainer Ivi Casagrande, the athletes who played the longest in the match did regenerative activity. They are: Andressa Alves, Rafaelle, Tamires, Debinha, Antonia, Luana, Duda Sampaio, Kathellen, Kerolin, Adriana, Ary and Ana Vitória. The other players took to the field.

The activity was led by assistant coach Lilie Persson. In the first half, the players performed a cross with a shot on goal and, in the second half, 2 x 2 clashes.
The Brazilian team continues training on the Gold Coast until July 18, when it travels to Brisbane to finalize preparations before the debut in the World Cup. The Women’s National Team faces Panama on July 24, in Adelaide (AUS).
The game against China
The Brazilian Women’s National Team beat China 3-0 in the training game held this Thursday morning (13), at the Royal Pines field, on the Gold Coast. Canarinho’s goals were scored by Luana, Kathellen and Rafaelle. Behind closed doors, the match was played in three halves of 30 minutes. Coach Pia Sundhage took advantage of the activity to test the team, alternating options on the field.
Strikers Marta, Geyse and Bia Zaneratto were rested to avoid overload. Tainara was also preserved. Striker Nycole did not participate in the activity, as she is recovering from a slight sprain in her right ankle, which happened in the friendly match between Brazil and Chile, in Brasília.
