Brazilian National Team is called-up for the She Believes Cup

The Brazilian Women’s National Team is called up for the ninth edition of the SheBelieves Cup. This Friday (15), coach Arthur Elias announced the list of 23 players who will represent Brazil in the competition, which will take place during the April FIFA dates, between the 1st and 9th.

Brazil started the year with great achievements. In their first challenge of 2024, the team was the runner-up in the first ever Concacaf Gold Cup.

With an eye on the Olympics, Arthur Elias’s list includes many new faces. Of the 23 players called up, 15 play in Brazil. In addition, five players had not yet had the opportunity to work with the National Team under the new coach’s command.

Competition format

Due to the Gold Cup being held, the SheBelieves Cup, which previously followed the traditional format of six matches, will now be played in a semifinal and final format.
