Brazilian National Team holds penultimate training session before the match against Uruguay

This Sunday (15), the Brazilian team had another day of work in Montevideo before facing Uruguay, at the Centenário Stadium, in the fourth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Coach Fernando Diniz led the training at the Campeón del Siglo Stadium.

In the first 30 minutes, Fernando Diniz promoted technical training and worked on several fundamentals. In the second part of the activities, the commander of the Amarelinha did tactical work, in addition to testing the team. At times, he stopped training to adjust his positioning.

This Sunday’s activity already included Adryelson, called up to replace Nino, who suffered a sprain in his left knee in Saturday’s training. Called up to the Main Team for the first time, the 25-year-old Botafogo defender arrived this Sunday in Montevideo and presented himself directly at the Stadium.

“It’s an incredible moment, I just have to thank God for the opportunity, and the committee for their trust, all the staff. I came to help, I came to deliver my best and help my teammates and the coach in whatever way possible”, said the player.

This Monday (16), Brazil does the last work before the match against Uruguay. Training will be at 4:30 pm (local time), at the Centenário Stadium, the venue for Tuesday’s game.
