Before the departure, the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) held a farewell ceremony for the delegation at the Granja Comary, in Teresópolis (RJ), where the called-up players went through the first phase of preparation for the Olympics. The big attraction was the presentation of 20 girls from the orchestra of the socio-cultural project “Music for Youth”, from the FESO Pro Arte Cultural Center, located in Teresópolis. They performed in the entrance hall of the CBF’s CT (Training Center) at Granja Comary, and played the Brazilian national anthem as a farewell celebration for the players of the Women’s National Team.
