CBF’s celebrations for the Women’s National Team’s Olympic medal were capped off in style. With a performance by singer Ludmilla at a club in Barra da Tijuca, players and coaching staff celebrated their podium finish at the Paris Olympics.
“You are amazing, you deserve all the good things. Let’s dance,” Ludmilla said on the afternoon of this Monday (11), inviting the players to come closer to the stage.

While performing her hits, Ludmilla displayed a medal she borrowed from Gabi Nunes. She then called CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues and coach Arthur Elias to the stage to greet them alongside the athletes.
The pioneers of women’s football in Brazil, who had been honored earlier at CBF’s headquarters, also attended the event, along with relatives of the medalists. “I lived to see my daughter win this medal, and I lived to see what CBF is doing for these girls, for Brazilian women’s football,” said Marta, the adoptive mother of striker Jheniffer, emotionally.
Before Ludmilla arrived and was embraced by Marta, another singer, Marvvila, took the stage and set a lively tone for the event, energizing the afternoon for the medalists.
Shortly after, to further boost the group’s excitement, a large screen behind the stage showcased special messages celebrating the achievement in France. Messages were sent to the players from fellow medalists Ana and Duda from beach volleyball, and Bia from judo, among others.
