The Under-23 Men’s Team begins its journey in the Pre-Olympic Games this Tuesday (23) in Venezuela. The opponent will be Bolivia, at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Brigido Iriarte Stadium, in Caracas.

The Bolivians drew 3-3 in their debut with the host team, with a very outstanding performance in the second half; as they reacted after an adverse score of 3-1.

“All the games in this Pre-Olympic are decisions, we are very well prepared to play a good game, and then try to take Brazil to the Olympics”, declared striker Endrick.

Since January 8, coach Ramon Menezes has been training the team for the Pre-Olympic. This stage began in Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio. On the 17th, the delegation traveled to Venezuela.

During this period, Ramon made a point of emphasizing the importance of players increasingly valuing the essence of Brazilian football. They want an offensive team, always looking for the goal, and playing with joy. Of course, no oversights in defense. He also doesn’t give up on competitiveness, on “giving his soul” on the field.

The conversation with the 23 called up in recent days was guided by the need for a good result in the first match. The competition is short, there are four matches in a group of five teams, with the best two qualifying for the final round.

Brazil is in Group A, with Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia. The teams from Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay and Chile are part of Group B.

Climbing the first step upon debut is, therefore, fundamental for the Brazilian team. After facing Bolivia, the team will face Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, respectively. In another group game already held, Ecuador beat Colombia 3-0.
