Brazilian National Team arrives in Venezuela for the start of the Pre-Olympic tournament

The Pre-Olympic Team arrived this Wednesday afternoon (17), in Caracas, Venezuela, to compete in the tournament that guarantees qualification for the Paris Olympic Games.

The Brazilian team finished its preparation at Granja Comary on Tuesday morning. The delegation traveled to São Paulo in the afternoon and headed to Caracas early this Wednesday morning.

The technical committee and the 23 athletes called up by coach Ramon Menezes are already on Venezuelan soil for the start of the competition.

In the first phase, Brazil makes up group A, alongside Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia and Ecuador. The team debuts on the 23rd, against Bolivia. Then they face Colombia, on the 26th. The third opponent will be Ecuador on the 29th. They finish the group stage playing the hosts on February 1st.

All matches in this stage will be in Caracas, at the Brígido Iriarte Stadium.
