Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino showed how much Brazilians are important in the Premier League. Each scored a goal in the draw between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield, with the Red’s number 9 providing the equalizer late in the game.
The Gunners got to the score sheet very early in the game after poor defending by the Reds. Martinelli got face to face with Alisson and weakly kicked the ball to beat the other Brazilian. Eight minutes later, the number 11 crossed the ball to the middle of the area and Gabriel Jesus was there to head it, prompting the lead to 2-0 in 27 minutes.

It seemed that the game was going towards Arsenal’s favor but Liverpool didn’t give up. Curtis Jones passed the ball to Diogo Jota and he found Henderson in the area. The midfielder changed the ball route and Salah was quicker than Gabriel Magalhães to reach the ball and put in the net.
However, the Egyptian lost a penalty in the second half. The chance to become a hero came to Roberto Firmino in the end of the game. Alexander-Arnold dribbled Zinchenko and crossed the ball in the second post, only for the Brazilian to rise abover all others and secure the draw. Liverpool could have won the game, but Ramsdale saved a late shot from Salah.
The electrifying draw, however, now has Arsenal within reach from Manchester City. There is a six point gap between them, but the Citizens have played one less game and will face the Gunners at the end of the month, at Etihad Stadium, in which probably is the most decisive game of the Premier League.
