The Thai football calendar is back after a break in the country’s games. The competition, which had been on hold since December 28, 2023, still has ahead the second half of the Thai League, as well as the two cups organized by the Football Association of Thailand: the Thai FA Cup and the Thai League Cup.

And if there’s a Brazilian who’s excited about this, it’s coach Gabriel Magalhães, 39, who leads Chiangrai United, a team currently in 5th place in the Thai top division and in the second phase of the Thai League Cup.

“We are very excited about the resumption of the season. This break was important for the restructuring of the team. Some people arrived, others left, but the important thing is that we will continue working towards securing a spot in the Asian Champions League and winning the Thai League Cup,” said the coach.
