The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup is the big event of the year, but many already have their sights set on the next edition of the tournament. The 2027 Cup does not yet have a confirmed venue, so several countries have shown interest in hosting the competition.
Brazil submitted its bid to host individually, just as it did for the 2014 Men’s World Cup. South Africa is also looking to be the sole host, while the other bids are shared: Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany are looking to split the matches, and in North America the United States and Mexico want to co-host.

Brazil is among the four candidacies to organize the Women’s World Cup
Interested countries have until May 19 to submit their full bids, and FIFA will have almost a year to designate the venue. The soccer regulatory body congress will name the host through public vote on May 17, 2024.
The United States already hosted the tournament in 1999 and 2003, but this would be the first time they have hosted it together with other country. Germany also took charge of the 2011 edition on its own, although this time it is looking for the tournament to return to Europe together with other organizers.
