The Brazilian delegation arrived on Thursday night (6) in College Station, Texas. The players and members of the coaching staff followed from the city’s airport to the hotel that will serve as their base.

On Saturday (8), Brazil will face Mexico at 10pm (Brasilia time). The friendly match will be the first test for the Brazilian team in their preparation for the Copa América.

After the game, Brazil will have one more friendly in the preparation phase. On Wednesday (12), the Seleção will face the United States in Orlando, the last test before the debut in the continental tournament.

According to Ge, this Saturday, the main players will be preserved. On the second, on Wednesday, the formation will be more similar to the March FIFA date, when Brazil defeated England and drew with Spain.

On Friday, the Seleção will have a training session to familiarize themselves with the Kyle Field Stadium, the arena of one of the most traditional teams in college American football. The stadium was built in 1905 and underwent a renovation 10 years ago.

Before traveling, coach Dorival Júnior trained the team in Orlando, Florida. Brazil has been preparing in the city since the 28th to participate in the Copa América.

Brazil will start their Copa América campaign against Costa Rica on the 24th in Los Angeles. Colombia and Paraguay will also be the Seleção’s opponents in the first phase of the tournament.
