Coach Fernando Diniz also projected a balanced duel and highlighted that the team has to be attentive during the match to come out with a positive result.
“I expect a very difficult game with both teams looking to take the lead in the game. I think he has the characteristics of Bielsa (Uruguay coach), who everyone knows. Mine is too. So, we will have a very competitive game”, assessed the coach, who completed.
“We have to be prepared for all situations. One of them, perhaps the most predictable, would be a higher marking and pressure. It’s a very well-trained team, with players from the main clubs in Europe. We expect a great classic”, said Diniz.
With seven points, the Seleção occupies second place in the Qualifiers, which will give six direct places to the 2026 World Cup.
