The final stretch of the Brasileirao 2023 season promises to be thrilling until the last second. With Botafogo’s recent downfall, several teams have joined the race for the title, and with three rounds left, up to six clubs have serious chances of being crowned champions.

Palmeiras are leading the standings after 35 matchdays, ahead of Flamengo only due to goal difference. The Fogao trail by just one point, and further behind are Atlético Mineiro, Gremio, and Bragantino, separated from the top by only a handful of points.

What lies ahead for the six contenders

Palmeiras:

Flamengo:

Mengao reached the final stretch with unexpected chances of clinching the title. Their upcoming matches are against Atlético Mineiro at home, Cuiabá at Maracanã, and São Paulo at Morumbi.

Botafogo:

The Lone Star hope to regain the lead in the last three matchdays, facing Coritiba away, Cruzeiro at home, and Internacional in Porto Alegre.

Atlético Mineiro:

The Galo will visit Flamengo, then host São Paulo, and finish against Bahia in Salvador.

Gremio:

The Tricolor from Porto Alegre will host Goiás, then Vasco da Gama, and finally visit Fluminense in Rio.
