This Saturday (24), little Guilherme, aged 8, received a surprise. After receiving a shirt honoring Vasco icon Roberto Dinamite, the boy was able to meet players Figueiredo and Gabriel Pec. The athletes came to visit him in the hospital.
Guilherme suffers from a rare disease and last week woke up from a coma after 16 days. The moving images of the little one’s reunion with his mother, Tayane Gandra, have gone viral on social media.
Last Friday (23), Gui received a jersey from his idol Roberto Dinamite, presented by the player’s son, Rodrigo. On this occasion, Rodrigo promised that Guilherme would enter the pitch with a Vasco player of his choice.
The chosen player was Gabriel Pec, who immediately accepted the invitation saying it was an honor.
This Saturday (24), the little one had a surprise: Pec and Figueiredo came to visit him in the hospital.
In the footage, Pec can be seen asking when the boy will enter the pitch with him. Gui responds quickly, “When I get well. I am already healing!”
During this meeting, Guilherme also invited Pec to his ninth birthday party.

Little Guilherme suffers from dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic disease, and was in an induced coma at Barra da Tijuca Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. Guilherme had been hospitalized for treatment of pneumonia and had been intubated.
This condition is caused by a deficiency of collagen, which leads to sores and blisters on the skin. Epidermolysis bullosa can lead to various complications and manifests itself from the birth of the child.
