“The Copa Libertadores is a difficult competition, in which all teams must be mentally prepared, also assembling their squad to be able to compete in the national championship. I believe that Botafogo has the opportunity to demonstrate and take a leap forward in South America with a good edition of the Libertadores. From my side, I can contribute with my experience in this competition and perhaps fulfill the dream of winning the Libertadores,” Romero said.
“Botafogo outside of Brazil is seen as a very good project, and that’s precisely what helped me decide to be here. They spoke very well of the project, of what they are doing at the club, the radical change. And I want to join this beautiful project that is emerging in Botafogo.”
