Philippe Coutinho is changing clubs again. The Brazilian has already reached an agreement with Al-Duhail who arranged the terms of the transfer with Aston Villa. Although the amount is unknown, Barcelona would receive 50% of the transaction.

The Catalan club had signed him in exchange for 135 million euros in January 2018, but he was never able to demonstrate the level he had achieved with Liverpool. Coutinho was loaned twice, first to Bayern Munich and then to Villa.
After a fantastic six months in Birmingham, the Premier League side bought their ticket for €20m in July 2022. However, the departure of Steven Gerrard had a negative impact on his level, as he was unable to perform under orders by Unai Emery. The Spaniard, in fact, acknowledged that the 31-year-old midfielder is close to leaving.

Coutinho had made a great start with the Villains, contributing eight goals in his first six months. Everything changed after the transfer became permanent, participating in just one goal in 20 games.
