Revealed through the youth categories of Avaí, where he stayed for more than 10 years, the athlete arrived at the Portuguese club in August 2022 after standing out for the club from Santa Catarina in the elite of Brazilian football. In his first year with the team, Arthur played 35 matches and scored one goal, all as a starter.
In the second season, the player added 21 matches and three goals for the club, in addition to dividing his attention with the Brazilian youth national team, where he played another 11 games, winning the gold medal at the Pan American Games. The player also commented on these experiences.
“I believe it was a very positive season individually speaking, unfortunately we did not achieve the goal for the club, but I had three call-ups to the Brazilian national team and I take that very much into account when looking at my season,” he concluded.
