Arthur Elias ends 2023 with three wins and two defeats in five games as head of the Women’s Team. At a press conference, the coach took the opportunity to evaluate the last friendly of the year and highlight what he still intends to improve in the team. This Wednesday (6), Brazil thrashed Nicaragua 4-0.

“It was a match with little time between one game and another, very exhausting. I understand that we had a confrontation against a very closed team and I see that the balance of the work in general is very positive. We have also been talking to the players about making the best decisions when we have the ball to create more scoring chances and this is something we have matured”, he analyzed.

The coach revealed that he took advantage of this last call-up to feel what it’s really like to be in charge of the national team and that he is satisfied with the team’s last games.

“I had some time to breathe in this last call-up and I took advantage of the end of the game to be able to feel how good it is to be in the Brazilian team and to be with this group, with these players. I believe that we can have an increasingly organized team and I know that we have gained a lot not only on the field, but especially off the field. Of course there is a lot to adjust as we did in these games, but I have been satisfied with the evolution of the athletes.”
