The 30-year-old Argentine says the chance given to him is like a dream and the biggest challenge of his career. He promised to deliver and shine with the shirt on in Porto Alegre.
The centre forward had already made his first training session with his teammates and has been in Porto Alegre since last Friday.
Grêmio are planning to manage him and get him available for the game with Juventude on Thursday for the Copa do Brasil. Churin does not believe that the Brazilian league is difficult to adapt in.
“It’s the biggest challenge of my career. Being here in Grêmio, with the facilities that I have, where football is a religion, with the passion I live in, I don’t know if I imagined myself, but it is a great satisfaction. Something I have always dreamed of and I am fulfilling on the basis of effort and sacrifice. I have to live up to such a big club – he highlighted in his first interview as a Gremista”.
“I have been to two different countries and I had no difficulty adapting. May this not be the exception. It means adapting quickly to football, my teammates and what Renato wants on the pitch. Be as fast as possible on the field and demonstrate what I can give – he pointed out”
Churín highlights his physical prowess and delivery in his playing style and promised to dedicate himself to the team both collectively and individually.
