Midfielder Andrey Santos emphasized the focus on the next challenge against Argentina, valid for the last round of the tournament that grants a spot in Paris 2024. For the captain of the Pre-Olympic National Team, besides being an extremely important final, being able to play in the South American classic is a childhood dream.

“It’s always a very special game, it’s every child’s dream, but I think we have to approach it with the same winning mentality. We will rest, prepare ourselves, and study Argentina, and God willing, everything will go well,” the athlete stated.

“We knew the importance of this game. We came together, talked, and what comforted us the most was knowing that it all depended on us. So, this victory was very important for us to continue in the competition,” said Andrey.

On Sunday (11), at 5:30 PM (Brasília time), the Brazilian National Team will face Argentina and will have the chance to secure a spot in the Paris Olympic Games to defend their Olympic title.
