Andrey Santos probably will stay at Chelsea during this season, the club indicates. The Blues have announced the shirt numbers for their players and the Brazilian was granted the number 20.

During this summer window, the youngster had been approached to be loaned by numerous clubs, but the final decision was up to Mauricio Pochettino’s evaluation of his pre-season. Andrey caused a good impression. He played in four of the five Chelsea games and was on the starting line-up in three of these matches.

Even though Chelsea are still figuring out what they will do about their players, some of them have their destiny set. That’s the case with Ângelo, who was loaned to Strasbourg yesterday. He will be with the Ligue 1 club during the whole season.

The Blues have 29 players on their roster as of now. Last season, there were a lot of complaints about having too many athletes available.
