Midfielder Andreas Pereira is prepared to face Uruguay this Saturday (6) in Las Vegas. The continental classic will define one of the semifinalists of the Copa América. Globo Group will broadcast the game on various platforms starting at 6 pm (Brasilia time).

In the press conference held on Thursday (4), the Fulham player stated that Brazil is “on the right track”. “We qualified, we’re going to enter the quarterfinals now and, for sure, in good faith, I’m sure our group is focused and prepared to win this game,” said the 28-year-old midfielder, who came on in the second half in the draw against Colombia on Tuesday (2).

Andreas is available to coach Dorival Júnior for the clash against the Uruguayans.

“It’s a historic game, very important. We will do everything to win,” said the player, who made history for the National Team last month. He was the first player born outside the country to score a goal with the Seleção. Andreas scored the equalizing goal against the United States on the 12th in Orlando.

Son of Brazilian parents, Andreas was born in Belgium but chose to play for the National Team.
